Architecture Kerry 2025
A number of senior students of Presentation Secondary School, Listowel, explored ‘Celtic Revival’ Plasterwork in Listowel. Over the course of two workshops they designed and created their very own Celtic-inspired Cast Plaster plaques with Natalie Deegan of ARTlab tralee. This event was funded by Creative Ireland, and organised by Conservation Officer, Victoria McCarthy, of Kerry County Council. An exhibition of their beautiful work was held in St. John’s Theatre, Listowel and opened by President of the Kerry Archaeological and Historical Society, Tony Bergin.
Architecture Kerry 2024
Experience an artistic and modern interpretation of an 18th century Neoclassical or Georgian Drawing Room at Coláiste Íde, Burnham House, An Daingean, Dingle, Co. Kerry. This year, for Architecture Kerry 2024, Natalie worked with Senior Level students at Coláiste Íde. Their work was on display for the Irish Georgian Society Event, 'Picturesque Designed Landscapes of Kerry: Where Art embraces Nature' on the 27th September at Coláiste Íde. This event was funded by The Heritage Council, Kerry County Council and supported by Cairde Choláiste Íde.
