Natalie designs and creates truly individual textile art pieces. She works mostly in appliqué, weaving and felt, media which lend themselves to creating texture, depth and an emotive sensory experience. Responding to her local area of Tralee and its surrounds, she is particularly drawn to the fascinating vitality and colours of the sea and the ever-changing textures of the land. The influence of the environment is almost always evident in her drawings, textile art, paintings and photography.
